This prestigious award recognises excellence in golf course management by a practicing Golf Course Superintendent and will be awarded in relation to the management of a Golf Course facility,
Eligibility
Any Golf Course Superintendent whom has displayed outstanding achievements in the criteria listed is eligible for the Superintendents Achievement Award.
Criteria
The following criteria should be considered and evidence provided when nominating an individual for Superintendents Achievement Award:
- Financial resource available to such individual
- Non financial resource available to such individual
- Leadership
- People/resource Management
- Continuous improvement via personal and facility means
All evidence should relate to the activity and achievements for the period of 1st August 2025 to 30th June 2026.
Nomination Process
Golf Course Turf Apprentices may be nominated for this award via the General Manager, Board or Committee members at their respective golf club and all nominations shall be made through the online nomination form.
Nominations will close at 5pm on 1st August, 2026.
Selection
Nominations for Superintendents Achievement Award will be assessed in relation to the above criteria by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of Queensland and results announced at the 2026 Queensland Golf Industry Awards Dinner, to be held at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on Thursday 8th October, 2026.
