The Queensland Golf Club Board Member of the Year Award is designed to recognise the effort, dedication and contribution to a golf club by a Board Member.
Eligibility
Any current Board Member of a Golf Club located in Queensland or in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, who has been in a board position for a period of in excess of 12 months at the time of nomination is eligible for the Queensland Golf Club Board Member of the Year award.
Criteria
The following criteria should be considered and evidence provided when nominating an individual for the Queensland Golf Club Board Member of the Year award:

Nature of contribution to a Golf Club

Magnitude of dedication shown to a Golf Club

Strategic implementations at a Golf Club

Initiatives that foster good governance practices
All evidence should relate to the activity and achievements for the period of 1st August 2025 to 30th June 2026.
Please attach any supporting documentation along with a photo of the Board Member when submitting the nomination.
Nomination Process
Golf Club Board Members may be nominated for this award via club representatives, staff, management, PGA Club and Teaching Professionals or any other person who has detailed knowledge of the Golf Club Board member’s achievements.
All nominations shall be made through the online nomination form and must be accompanied by a supporting letter from the Golf Club/facility (Management or Board Member, Director etc).
Nominations will close at 5pm on 1st August, 2026.
Selection
Nominations for Queensland Golf Club Board Member of the Year will be assessed in relation to the above criteria by the GMA selection panel and results announced at the 2026 Queensland Golf Industry Awards Dinner, to be held at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on Thursday 8th October, 2026.
